At the upper temperature range this grip wax is good for wet, new snow.  The warmer it is, the thicker the layer of wax should be for adequate grip.

New fallen snow:  3°C to 0°C (37°F to 32°F).
Transformed fine grained snow:  1°C to -1°C (34°F to 30°F).
